Brake lines

“Armoured” brake lines for racing cars

GOLDfren brake lines are manufactured from top quality materials. The basic (inner) layer is made of PTFE Teflon® that is capable of withstanding thermal loads up to 250°C.  (Not all competition brands use this special layer.) This layer is braided with a stainless-steel fibres and the surface is protected with a transparent rubber coating that protects the braided inner layer from moisture and dirt. At the customer´s request, it is possible to produce brake lines with coloured coating or with special black coating.

The high-quality braiding bears  pressure up to 200 bar and eliminates brake lines expansion. Unlike the competition brands that use galvanized iron, our company uses only high-quality fittings and bajos made of stainless-steel and therefore can guarantee high strength and a very long lifetime. All the fittings are pressed (bolted fittings are in the field of motorcycle sport prohibited, but despite this fact, there are still some brands using this kind of fittings).

At the customer´s demand, a special protective plastic coating can be used to prevent brake line coming in contact with other parts of the vehicle and subsequent damage of the rubber protective layer. This special protective coating is simply applied in the endangered area.

Brake lines set is always drawn up as a direct serial rubber brake lines´ replacement (it is necessary to amend the brake hose clamp in the exceptional cases only).

Why are the GOLDfren brake lines better?

  • they enable you using the pedal more quickly and therefore reach a faster stopping effect.
  • in case of using brake lines set in motorcycle equipped with ABS, you will basically eliminate the pedal vibrations and markedly shorten the braking distance
  • you will prevent the common rubber brake lines from expanding
  • you will obtain a much better braking feel a minimize braking fade
  • multiple longer lifetime than with the serial brake hoses

Brake lines change:

  • we recommend exchanging the brake fluid while exchanging the brake hoses (we recommend brake fluid CASTROL)
  • loose the bleeding screws one after another and let the brake fluid flow out. Depress  the pedal to fasten this process.
  • dismount old brake lines and compare the visually with the new ones (length, fittings)
  • mount new brake lines
  • infuse new brake fluid a start bleeding. it is better to start bleeding proces with the longest lines (it is mainly the rear right wheel).
You can do it alone using our brake fluid bleeding set.
